(Editor’s note: I just got off the phone with Press TV. They asked me to comment on US relief aid to Northern Iraq. As the only person writing about this who has actually been there, heaven forbid, I know how insane recent lunatic fringe accusations are. Few want to hear the truth, some of it outlined below, that the supposed elected government runs NOTHING in America. Simply put, the US is not going back into Iraq. Yes, the oil companies are there with McCain, ARAMCO and neocons at the State Department and the group they are using is ISIS. The lunatic fringe activists and bloggers who had this right have now changed sides just for a chance to kiss up to the rabid America haters. Moral flexibility problems plague more than just the Zionista.
Thus, if the White House sends aid to Kurdistan, you can bet that John McCain and his crowd are sending weapons to the other side. What part of this, and by “this,” I mean the reality of the last 14 years, is so hard to grasp?)
While pundits on the right, left and lunatic fringe pummel President Obama for everything he does while an African American president, let us be clear on this. Obama’s primary crime is “Presidenting While Black.”
So, when the most monumental thing any Chief Executive has done in half a century happens, we don’t hear about it. Think how upset Rand Paul, Hannity, Rush and the Rothschilds are now. Here is what you can do, keep doing what you do, talking the talk and doing no walking whatsoever.

According to a senior White House official in the Wall Street Journal, this decision means “the United States is saying ‘The buck stops here…It’s not OK anymore.”
This is the kind of backbone we have been waiting for, and we simply must overwhelm the hawkish voices to show President Obama that we support him.
The US currently writes a blank check to Israel for 3 billion dollars a year in unrestricted military aid. Israel has used these tax dollars to utterly devastate Gaza over the last five weeks, killing over 2000 Palestinians, and creating a massive humanitarian disaster the scale of which we are still struggling to comprehend. 16,800 homes have been partially or completely destroyed, 450,000 Palestinians are displaced, and food, electricity, and water are all in dangerously short supply.
The Obama administration’s move yesterday signals a very important first step toward what we really need: an end to US funding for Israel’s ceaseless war on Palestinian civilians. But we can’t get there if we don’t back this win.

We know that the pro-war forces have already flooded the Obama Administration with angry emails and calls. We know about the unconditional support Israel has in Congress for this one-sided war on Gaza.
Obama is not the first president to hold up arms shipments to Israel–both Ford and Reagan halted shipments for periods during their administrations. But it didn’t last. This time, we need the Obama Administration to hear that we cannot go back to business as usual.
