JOHN PODESTA’S CATHOLIC SPRING: Conclusion, “Pizzagate Revisited”

In
the slow burn of political and ecclesiastical let downs that has marked
the 2018-2019 year, the hot and surging days of November 2016 seem a
world away.
In 2016 traditionalists, for the most part, were alone in decrying the
scandalous and confusing papacy of Pope Francis. Cardinals Wuerl and
Cupich as well as Archbishop Robert McElroy, and the newly appointed
Archbishop Joseph Tobin were set to complete the process of dismantling
the Catholic Church in America under the shadow of their spiritual
mentor, Cardinal Theodore McCarrick.
In
the secular sphere, Catholics hoped that the newly elected President
Donald J. Trump, despite his many flaws, would appoint a conservative,
prolife Supreme Court justice, seal the border, and bring the jobs back
home.
There are a lot of weird things that came out of 2016, but one of the strangest was the Pizzagate scandal.
Just in time for the 2016 election, Wikileaks released a trove of emails from longtime Democratic strategist John Podesta in which Podesta made a number of cryptic references to a variety of food items, which seemed, on the surface, to be possible innuendos for some sort of bizarre sexual activity.
Beginning on the “Intellectual Dark Web” world of 4Chan and right wing twitter, a series of internet researchers and possible pranksters developed a theory that the various culinary terms were code for the sexual abuse of children.
Pizzgate reached mainstream media attention when Michael Flynn Jr. Tweeted a reference to Pizzagate on December 4, 2016, the very day when a man was arrested for attacking a Washington, DC restaurant named Comet Ping Pong, which, the Pizzagate researchers had suggested, was linked with the alleged child abuse.
The establishment media took to a frenzied response that echoes even to our current year. This last December, RollingStone Magazine featured a cleverly crafted defense of John Podesta, titled, “John Podesta is Ready to Talk about Pizzagate,” which goes out of its way to assure its readers that Pizzagate is an “insane,” “deranged and viral conspiracy theory” “with zero basis in reality.”
It certainly may be the case that Pizzagate is merely a conspiracy theory, and John Podesta and his entourage merely have an intense liking for pizza, pasta, and hotdogs; however, it is somewhat curious that the media has gone out of its way to defuse Pizzagate, possibly the most mainstream and well known conspiracy since the Kennedy assassination.
Generally, the smartest thing for powerful people to do with conspiracies is to ignore them and wait until they go away. Whenever the media viciously attacks anonymous bloggers and Twitter trolls, there is usually a good sign that these trolls have touched a raw nerve or uncovered some truth, however convoluted, that, if fully revealed, could cause serious damage to the pseudo-elite who govern the Western world.
Nonetheless,
even if we grant that there are no code words to be found in Podesta’s
hacked emails, and all references to food in Podesta’s electronic
traffic are simply expressions of an Italian-American Catholic’s love of
carbohydrates, John Podesta is a very weird person who has a lot of
very weird friends and family members.
Moreover, as John Podesta is one of the most powerful liberal Catholics in the country, uncovering some of the extremely bizarre and shocking paraphernalia around Podesta can help further reveal the perverse overlay between liberal clerical and liberal politicians in America and Europe.

In fact, a 2016 interview with Podesta in Time Magazine is structured around the theme of cannibalism. It seems the interviewer, Jay Newton-Small, was inspired by a painting (pictured below) hanging in Podesta’s office that depicts two men ritualistically carving up a cadaver. In the interview, Podesta makes several jokes about the cannibal painting, noting to his colleagues, “It’s better to be the guy with the fork than the guy on the table.”
Near
the end of the piece, Newton-Small reveals that while cooking up some
of his Italian-American specialties for a fundraiser at his brother’s
house in DC, John Podesta cracked the joke, “I’m behind the counter
because I don’t want to be the meal.”

As vile and disgusting as this art is, there is an even more horrific and ghoulish artist that Tony Podesta patronizes, Patricia Piccinini, whose work includes perversely erotic and nightmarish sculptures of children being visited on their beds by terrible monsters.

The English language Belgium satirical newspaper The Sprout went so far as to suggest that Cardinal Danneels was involved with the Dutroux Affair.
While there is no direct evidence of such an assertion, Cardinal Godfried Danneels, leader of the St. Galen Mafia and one of the most powerful men in the Catholic Church, was questioned for 10 hours by police after the raid.
Even more weirdly, as was widely reported in the media, the tombs of two bishops were exhumed in the raid on Belgium Church offices.

Yet, ironically, the success of the Catholic Spring has been its failure. Thanks to Pope Francis’s blatant scandals and repeated public demonstration of theological errors, it is no longer “rad trads” who are on to Pope Francis’ game. Much of the Catholic Church is awake to his ways, and due to the Holy Father’s corrupt handling of sex abuse cases, even many in the library media have turned away from Francis.
In the end, we have hope, for, as Francis falls, so too will the political and clerical classes in the West who supported him and, finally, the “great façade” of Vatican II itself will dissolve and the splendor of the Catholic faith will shine again.
