Εκείνες τις πολύ περίεργες ημέρες,  απεφεύχθη ένας πόλεμος ανάμεσα στις κακοήθεις δυνάμεις που κινούν τα νήματα του  'τότε/τώρα Κόσμου'  και κινούν τα νήματα και του 'σήμερα/αύριο Κόσμου',  στο τραγικό κι επονείδιστο γιά όλους τους επωφελούμενους , υποκινητές,  ενορχηστρωτές, κερδοφορούντες  και χαιράμενους,  λοιμωδώς  φρικτό  Μεσανατολικό , Ασιατικό, Αφρικανικό  πολεμικό-προσφυγικό ζήτημα. 
 Είναι ευκρινέστατα ορατοί από εμάς.
Θέλουν έναν ΙΙΙ Π.Π.  γιά να επιφέρουν την ολοκληρωτική τελική καταστροφή της Ανθρωπότητας και την πλήρη εγκατάσταση  της δικής τους  Νέας Τάξης Πραγμάτων.  Προσπάθησαν τότε, προσπαθούν τώρα, θα προσπαθούν πάντα μέχρι να τους σταματήσουμε.
Το κόστος αυτής της αποφυγής πολέμου, κατά  τις κρίσιμες πρώτες πρωινές ώρες της 31ης Ιανουαρίου 1996, και το μετέπειτα θλιβερό  'ευχαριστώ' πρός  την εταιρική Αμερικανο-ΝΑΤΟικού μορφώματος  κυβέρνηση , από τον τραγικό τότε  Έλληνα πρωθυπουργό,  αποκρυσταλλώθηκε  στην μετατροπή του Αιγαίου σε γκρίζα ζώνη.
Τραγικός καλείται διότι το ολοκλήρωμα των στοχεύσεων  του , ορατών τε και μή,  είχε ως αποτέλεσμα την θεμελίωση μιάς  ακόμη τεράστιας απώλειας γιά τον Ελληνισμό κι ενεθάρρυνε αναφανδόν την επέλαση   αμέτρητων  σταδίων  εξανδραποδισμού και νάρκωσης του Ελληνικού φωτός της ψυχής μας,  έκτοτε.
Είτε είχε κηρυχθεί πόλεμος τότε , είτε αύριο, είτε μας εκδιώξουν από την συνθήκη  Σένγκεν και το ευρώ είτε όχι,  η όποια απαιτηθησόμενη διαδικασία , διαμόρφωση συνθηκών, δεδομένων , η όποια αναληφθησόμενη δράση , θα πρέπει , οφείλει πλέον να περάσει από την γνώση, την αντίληψη και την τελική  απόφαση  ημών των ιδίων.
Αυτό γιά να επιτυχθεί απαιτεί αποκόλληση από το χθές κι ενημέρωση τέτοια που να τοποθετεί τα πράγματα στις πραγματικές τους βάσεις. Δυστυχώς , τα συστημικά μέσα, οι υπηρεσίες και οι συστημικές διακυβερνήσεις των χωρών, δεν έχουν συμφέρον να προχωρήσουν σε τέτοιες αποκαλύψεις κρυμμένων αληθειών , είτε αυτές αφορούν την επιστήμη, είτε την τεχνολογία , είτε την πολιτική , επειδή έτσι θα χάσουν την εξουσία τους επάνω μας.
'Ομως κι εμείς, από την άλλη πλευρά,  αποζητάμε επιτέλους την ελευθερία μας από  την υποδούλωση στις ψευδείς οικονομικές, κοινωνικές, περιβαλλοντικές  συνθήκες, μέσα στις οποίες διαρκώς επιδιώκουν να μας αλυσσοδένουν.
Η Γνώση κι Αλήθεια  πραγματικά Ελευθερώνουν! Τότε και μόνον τότε οι όποιες επιλογές κι αποφάσεις  μας έχουν την δυνατότητα να λειτουργήσουν προς το  αληθινό όφελος της Ανθρωπότητας.
Αλλιώς,  εμείς οι άνθρωποι, αλληλοδολοφονούμενοι σε οικονομικούς, στρατιωτικούς και κοινωνικούς αγώνες  και πολέμους , μόνο ανακυκλώνουμε το πρόβλημα , μέσα στό οποίο οι αρνητικές δυνάμεις επιδιώκουν να μας κατακρατούν . Στην ουσία παίζουμε το παιγνίδι τους, μέ τους δικούς τους όρους! Δηλαδή απώλεια στήν απώλεια!
'Ηρθε η 'ωρα της Αλήθειας, του τέλους της παραπληροφόρησης !
Οι αχανείς λεωφόροι του 'Ιντερνετ , οι κόποι και οι θυσίες πολλών πρωτοπόρων , είναι ελεύθερα κι ακίνδυνα ανοικτοί μπροστά στα μάτια της καρδιάς μας. Τώρα είναι η ώρα! 
Ενημέρωση, επιφόρφωση από εμάς γιά εμάς, επίγνωση , επικοινωνία με τον γείτονα το φίλο τον συνάνθρωπο. Ο ένας να προφυλάσσει την πλάτη του άλλου με κατανόηση , επίγνωση , εγρήγορση , συμπόνοια.  Εμείς είμαστε αυτοί που περιμένουμε!   μ.λ.π.

Τις κρίσιμες πρώτες πρωινές ώρες της 31ης Ιανουαρίου 1996, η Ελλάδα και η Τουρκία βρέθηκαν ελάχιστα πριν από την ολική σύγκρουση.   Είκοσι χρόνια μετά αποδείχθηκε με τον πιο οδυνηρό τρόπο στην ελληνική κοινωνία ότι η προσπάθεια να διατηρήσεις ένα "κράτος ψευδαισθήσεων" με την μόνιμη επωδό περί ισχυρών Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων (Πώς; Με "αέρα";) είναι απέλπιδη και ότι, όταν έρθει η στιγμή της αλήθειας, αυτό το "κράτος" θα καταρρεύσει.  Αυτή η στιγμή για όλο το ελληνικό πολιτικό σύστημα έφθασε με τη νύχτα των Ιμίων.  Αλλά δυστυχώς, ουδείς μοιάζει να έχει βάλει μυαλό.  Πέρα από την "πολιτική του κατευνασμού" ("Ταΐζω το θηρίο με την ελπίδα να με φάει τελευταίο"), ένα πρωτοφανές αυτοεμπάργκο οπλικών συστημάτων μεταξύ 2005 και 2010 και η εν συνεχεία δαιμονοποίηση κάθε είδους επενδύσεων στην άμυνα και στην ασφάλεια της χώρας, σε συνδυασμό με την οικονομική καταστροφή που ήρθε με τα Μνημόνια από τον Μάΐο του 2010, έχουν προκαλέσει ένα χάσμα ενοπλης ισχύος με την Τουρκία της εξοπλιστικής φρενίτιδας.  Το οποίο χάσμα
καταδεικνύεται με απόλυτη ακρίβεια από εναγώνιες τοποθετήσεις τόσο του Αρχηγού ΓΕΑ, αντιπτεράρχου Χ.Βαΐτση σε δημοσιογράφους τον περασμένο Ιούνιο, όσο και στην φράση "Δεν έχουμε λεφτά ούτε για στολές" του Αρχηγού ΓΕΣ αντιστράτηγου Β.Τελλίδη, τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο.  Τα τραγικά γεγονότα κατέδειξαν με τον πιο οδυνηρό τρόπο την έλλειψη κουλτούρας εθνικής ασφάλειας της πολιτικής ηγεσίας το 1996.  Σήμερα τα πράγματα είναι πολύ-πολύ χειρότερα. Τότε έλλειψη, σήμερα απόλυτη ανυπαρξία!  Δυστυχώς, οι Ελληνικές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις εκείνη τη νύχτα υπέστησαν μια ήττα χωρίς να ρίξουν ούτε μία σφαίρα ποτέ στη μάχη και αυτό είναι το χειρότερο.  Και αυτό κάνει την "ποιότητα" της ήττας ακόμα πιο δυσβάστακτη...  Αντίθετα με τις τουρκικές ένοπλες δυνάμεις που αποδεδειγμένα έβαλλαν κατά του ΠΝ21 ΑΒ-212 ASW και το κατέρριψαν σκοτώνοντας το τριμελές πλήρωμά του. καιί ίσως ειναι ώρα να υπάρξει επίσημη αποδοχή του γεγονότος και τα περίφημα "μπουλόνια που πετάχθηκαν από το σώμα του ελικοπτέρου" να αναγνωριστεί ότι ήταν απλά ριπές από τα τουρκικά όπλα...  Είναι ώρα το κουφάρι του ελικοπτέρου να βγει από το υπόστεγο που βρίσκεται θαμμένο και να γίνει τόπος προσκυνήματος, αλλά και διδαγμάτων για το τι πρέπει να αποφύγουμε την επόμενη φορά...  Για να ησυχάσουν και οι ψυχές των Παναγιώτη Βλαχάκου, Χριστόδουλου Καραθανάση και Έκτορα Γιαλοψού...  Τι θα γινόταν εκείνο το βράδυ αν τα ελληνικά σκάφη άνοιγαν πυρ; Σίγουρα κάτι πολύ περισσότερο από αυτό που υποστήκαμε ως χώρα. τότε.  Το pronews.gr ξεκινά απόψε ένα μεγάλο αφιέρωμα (πάνω από 30 σχετικά άρθρα έχουν ετοιμαστεί από τους συντάκτες του portal) στα 20 χρόνια από τη νύχτα εκείνη που σφράγισε την de facto αποδοχή των αναθεωρητικών θέσεων της Αγκυρας στο Αιγαίο και επτά χρόνια αργότερα παραλίγο να συνεχιστεί με την επιχείρηση "Βαριοπούλα" και την κατάληψη του βόρειου Εβρου το 2003 Αναστάσιου Β.
