In ten out of the twenty five minutes of the two presidents official  meeting, the true message of the visit 'concetrate' was served. The USA President couldn't care less for the International and European Law references that President Pavlopoulos  presented, neither for the Lausanne Treaty and the current Turkish attitude, nor for the Cyprus Issue, nor for the FYROM irredentist encroachment efforts  ( organised by whom and by whose authority enhanced, might one perhaps ask)   against Greece.
The USA President body language remained disciplined and well mannered, albeit with heavier and more pretentious little movements and gestures, while the voice tone and intonation patterns  came down  on the 'safe-guard'  level, covering  for the annoyance and resentment caused by what the ears were hearing. And then , for the last  seven-eight minutes  he extoled, praised,  gloryfied, and eulogized the infamous NATO, along with some extra plaudits and some, evidently  Soros oriented,  refugees-migrants remarks! 
Meaning (among many other things) that "no matter what the Hellenic national security bubbles about , we allow FYROM   ( and others -if need be-)   to do as they please   ( and/or are manipulataed/guided  too ),  because we are THE  super power,  we need them in NATO, to support our oil-militay-industrialist-banking complex and you are in the way!
Thus indoctrinating not only us, Greeks and Europeans , but also the new USA President, while simultaneously speaking about Democracy! Audacity?!
Ignoring values, he  only spoke about money,  some sort of  a  fictitious   economic development and kept continuously  offering, during  all meetings /discussions / speeches,  the debt alleviation-economic betterment  fancy-flashy carrot, which,  as a matter of fact, he does not even possess!Audacity?!
Fact is that the miserable  SYRIZA Administration, its pathetic governance  and uneducated discernment ability has given ground  for many misconceptions about Greek reality.
Complimenting and flattering the natives with lots of glass beads and other 'trinkets and baubles' is one of them:
Therefore, mentioning  as many times as possible the names of Aristotelis, of Pericles, of the Greek Tragic Poets, the Elytis verses and much more, along with some "Kalon k' agathon" and  Foustanella  and  the most precious Filotimo, will not come to the rescue of the fastly waning New World Order and its malevolent, deadly to Humanity and Human Values, Globalisation!
Or else Mr. President, you would have had given an answer or an acknowledgement of some kind, to Greece's Voice as expressed by her President, or,  perhaps you could articulate some excuses at least, if not apologies,  for the ruined nations and lives in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Balkans etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.,.....etc., etc.,etc.,......................................!
But more and above all comes the 'Gnothi s'afton' which was not mentioned. First one  knows oneself ,  then  thinks and makes the choices , then  speaks and acts accordingly. Otherwise there is non-wholeness and the words of wisdom turn to sophistry and quibble. And then what?All this for what?
Everything happened for nothing: "για ένα πουκάμισο αδειανό, για μιαν Ελένη...".
