I would be most interested in your comments on this expansive and captivating work as it is so formative to the understanding of our vast history.
However, instead of commenting on The Book of Man, I am choosing to comment on the concept presented by The Nine. Here is my essay in answer…
Taken from my readings of The Seeders: The Return of the Gods, by Elena Danaan, The Nine are the highest level of individualized consciousness before Source. They do not have bodies, but live in-between the created Universes in a place called The Void. They are non-hierarchical, being individualized and a collective consciousness. All cultures that have advanced to a certain level of spiritual evolution are aware and know The Nine. Their consciousness encompasses all consciousness, all layers, and densities of existence. Their frequency of existence is faster than light. They can connect to a specific location and communicate when they wish to present a message.
The Nine are not a council; they are consciousness.
The Intergalactic Confederation members work for The Nine, acting as their agents, to enable the creation of more life throughout the Universes.

As the Nine expressed it, they were intent in establishing a bridge, from themselves to humanity through a story that would resonate with many. The record of these sessions can be found in the book, The Only Planet of Choice, Essential Briefings from Deep Space, compiled by Phyllis Schlemmer and Palden Jenkins (1993).
The Nine appear when there is about to be a tremendous change. Utilizing one such as Elena Danaan, a trained archaeologist, shaman, and researcher, she was just the sort of individual who could faithfully present the message of The Nine and, more importantly, be able to handle their energies.
Make no mistake, none of the benevolent entities who contact Elena including The Nine, want to be called “gods.” Source is not a god, either. The ones who called themselves gods were regressive entities who desired to be worshipped and feared, who wanted to control and dominate. Until Earth humanity has come to grips with the acceptance of their own power and innate but untried abilities, there will always be that conditioned reflex to want to obey an outside entity, believing them to be more than, whether more spiritual, more technologically advanced, more beautiful.
As for the series The Book of Man, it is but one individual’s interpretations of our collective history, an overly complex undertaking. While the videos are interesting and grant the viewer a brief overview, history is far more complex and there is the tendency to insert personal interpretations based on misunderstandings of the complexity of the worlds and densities that exist beyond our atmosphere.
As I mentioned above, the Nine seldom have interactions at an individual level with the life stories of creatures like us. This is not to give the impression that we are less than, by no means. Earth humanity has been long suppressed by regressive forces and still is to a degree, as wars play out between the dying hegemonic forces of the West and the rest of humanity.
There is much to release in terms of the social conditioning and programming endured especially by Western cultures, the infiltration of dark archonic forces into all institutions, including religion, science, government, military, and education. It will take a concerted effort on the part of those who survive the transition from third density into fourth density to release the old baggage of beliefs that allow one to function within a dysfunctional society.
One important item that needs to be relinquished is the tendency to worship those who are more evolved. They, too, are people, carrying the consciousness of Source, even the entities who have chosen the dark path.

On a more personal level, I once asked the air who sent me here (to Earth). The answer was the Council of Nine. Now, whether that was the original Council of Nine, now Five, now the Council of Alnilam, or the Nine, I have no idea. It is an adventure of many lifetimes we have embarked upon together. A hero’s journey is never an easy one and why should these times be easy? Comfort creates complacency. Without a touch of discomfort and struggle, there is no growth, no inspiration, no courage to step into the unknown and to accede to all expectations.
I encourage those who have questions to state them to the air during your walks, your meditations, and ponderings. And when you are ready to receive an answer it will come, whether through a thought or a book, an article, a movie, a song, a painting… Our consciousnesses are connected together, to each other, to the planet, to our star family, to the Intergalactic Confederation scientists who are our mothers and fathers, and to the Nine who guide us all through the evolutionary process.
The Nine would have never had a hand in creating a plague in Africa or any other place on the planet. The plague was the doing of the Nebu Greys who had the ability to travel through time and insert changes into timelines. It is fortunate that they no longer possess this ability as their Queen Hive AI has been hacked and dissembled. Nor would any of the many councils that exist in the benevolent worlds do such a thing. No, that was the work of a regressive race, one that is being strictly monitored by the Council of Alnilam, the former Council of Nine from the Orion Zone.

Now, it might seem to some that I am constantly advertising the books written by others. I am simply sharing the sources I have encountered especially during the past three difficult years as I have endeavored to digest all the disclosure coming from many sources, including social media (primarily Telegram and now “X”). The sheer complexity of the information, the presence of misinformation and disinformation embedded in much of it challenges the most impatient among us, including myself at times. Still, I admit I have not read all of the books I have piled up in my room. My aging eyes can only take so much.
Now, do your own vetting and research. I can only introduce concepts. It is up to you the reader to do the rest, sort, see what resonates and what does not. You can always change your mind, which is exactly what I have had to do. Humility features in this evolutionary process: Can you admit you were fooled, that you were wrong about something or not? Is keeping up with your neighbors, fitting in, being part of the crowd more important? Well, then… this evolution thing may not be for you. It is up to you to respond or not… and then, not to blame others for your own failures or mistakes. In my zig zag path of explorations, I have made many a false turn, but I have always returned to listening for the still small voice within, letting the fears settle so I could hear it and know the way to proceed.
