OctaYoga:Caressing The Diamond Facets with Lou DeBourbon
A. Explore the three planes: Pitch, Roll, and Yaw (Sagittal, Coronal, and Transverse) to deepen the understanding of weaving in space -ÂÂ think Sting Ray gliding though water and an undulating magic carpet in the air.
B. Gain a deep somatic understanding of the seven axis of symmetry -ÂÂ The three XYZ arrows through the six corners of the diamond piercing the six sides of the cube, and the four arrows through the eight facets of the diamond piercing the eight corners of the cube. All 7 are intersecting in our center.
C. Expand the figure eight through the Frictionless Bearing model to yield a new perception into the representation of the Octahedron, allowing for the development of a more complex Plane Mandala movement.
D. Focus on the Golden Mean location on the arms of the Octahedron positioned within
the Buckminsterfullerene -ÂÂ making it easy to interact with its pentagonal structure and
hang out in Carbons elegant cage.
E. Develop a heightened awareness of the geometry of space and our center of gravity
to conserve energy, improve balance, and increase sensitivity

Vajras (Dorje) Double vajras
Diamond thunderbolt of LiberationThe vajra is a common symbol in Tibetan/Tantric Buddhism and signifies powerful transformation. Vajra is a Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond and known as Dorje in Tibetan Buddhism. Additionally, it used as a ritual object to symbolize both the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force). Essentially it is a symbol of emptiness and the realisation of emptiness that is able to clarify all confusion and break through all obstacles and is particularly concerned with direct and immediate experience unmediated by concepts and ideas.
A number of Buddhist deities hold the Vajra or our known by the name Vajra eg. Vajrapani, Vajrasattva, Vajrayogini, Vajradhara. There is also the Vajra Guru ( guide/teacher), Vajrayana ( vehicle/path of the Vajra), the Vajrasana ( the diamond seat or place).
Vajras have a number of spokes. In a five-prong Vajra they represent the Five wisdoms which Transform the Five Poisons. These are The mirror-like wisdom, The wisdom of equality, The wisdom of discrimination, The wisdom of accomplishing activity, The wisdom of the sphere of reality. The Spokes rise out of the Central sphere of Completeness, Emptiness. Thus through the realising emptiness the five poisons become the Five wisdoms.Vajras can also be found in jewellery section of this site
The crystal vajras below are genuine Rock Crystal From Ganesh Himal region of Nepali Himalayas, hand carved and vivid and beautiful. From The North of Nepal near the Tibetan border in a sacred religious area of Nepal.
