Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart President Hassan Rouhani meet in Ankara on Wednesday, April 4, prior to the second trilateral meeting between the Astana process process guarantors.
The two leaders will be joined by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a three-way meeting to review the implementation of agreements reached at the first summit in Sochi on November 22, 2017.
Topics for discussion also include the ceasefire in Syria, de-escalation zones, the current humanitarian crisis and options for a lasting political settlement.
