Adviser of the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus, Mr. Espen Barth Eide,
today spent time at the the historic Buyuk Han in Nicosia with the
inter-communal Buyuk Han Coffee Club, which has been meeting socially on
a regular basis since 2003. The club presented Mr. Eide with a spade, a
token of encouragement for the work by the Greek Cypriot and Turkish
Cypriot leaders and communities towards a comprehensive settlement.Mr. Eide is a regular visitor to the Club’s social gatherings at the Buyuk Han.
