An ER doctor came forward anonymously and told us surgery was performed on Rich, he was stable, and in the morning they planned to do a little more work on his gun shot wounds before closing the wounds. He was not fatally shot.
The doctor reported that suddenly everyone was ordered from the area, police swarmed the hospital and shortly thereafter Rich was pronounced dead.
We don’t know what happened to Rich for certain. Some believe he was killed at the hospital, while others are hoping he was removed to safety.
We see no investigation by DC police into the death of Seth Rich, and the Police Chief at the time, Cathy Lanier, resigned one month after the shooting and a new chief put in place who seems agreeable to keep all information under wraps.
