The ascended master Hilarion, the Chohan,1 or Lord, of the Fifth Ray of Science, Healing and Truth, holds a world balance for truth from his etheric retreat, known as the Temple of Truth, over the island of Crete. Paul did not ascend in that life due to his torturing of Christians earlier in that embodiment. In his very next lifetime, Paul was born to pagan parents in 290 A.D. They resided in the same geographical region in which he had lived as Paul in his previous lifetime. As a young boy, Hilarion was sent to Alexandria to study. During this time of study, he heard the gospel and was converted to Christianity.His greatest desire was to be a hermit—to spend his time fasting and praying to God in seclusion. So he divided his fortune among the poor and set out for the desert near Gaza. He spent twenty years in prayer in the desert before he performed his first miracle. God, through him, cured a woman of barrenness. And his healing ministry began.Soon Hilarion was sought out by hundreds who had heard of his miraculous cures and ability to exorcise demons. In 329 A.D., with a growing number of disciples assembling around him, he fled to Egypt to escape the constant flow of people seeking to be healed from all manner of diseases. His travels brought him to Alexandria again, to the Libyan Desert and to Sicily.But his miracles did not only include healings. Once when a seacoast town in which he was staying was threatened with a violent storm, he etched three signs of the cross into the sand at his feet then stood with hands raised toward the oncoming waves and held the sea at bay.Hilarion spent his last years in a lonely cave on Cyprus. He was canonized by the Catholic Church and is today known as the founder of the anchorite life, having originated in Palestine. To this day, those known as anchorites devote themselves to lives of seclusion and prayer. Hilarion ascended at the close of that embodiment. Hilarion, as an ascended master, speaks to us today of the power of truth to heal the souls of men, delivering his word through The Hearts Center’s Messenger, David Christopher Lewis. Προσφέρουν ελπίδα με τα σωσίβια της δυστυχίας - 
Ένα φιλόδοξο σχέδιο


Σε τσάντες, μπρελόκ, θήκες για τάμπλετ, στρώματα, τετράδια, αδιάβροχα και πορτοφόλια φιλοδοξεί να μετατρέψει μία ομάδα νέων επιστημόνων υπό την αιγίδα του δήμου Λέσβου τους τόνους των πρόσθετων αποβλήτων που έχουν προσθέσει στο νησί οι αμείωτες προσφυγικές ροές των τελευταίων μηνών. Στόχος είναι να κατασκευαστεί μία μεταποιητική μονάδα, η οποία θα δημιουργήσει θέσεις εργασίας και θα στεγαστεί σε χώρο που θα φιλοξενεί παράλληλα και «προσφυγικό μουσείο».
Μόνον ο όγκος από τα χρησιμοποιημένα σωσίβια που έχουν συλλεγεί φτάνει σήμερα τα 3.000 κυβικά μέτρα, τη στιγμή που αυτά σε συνδυασμό με τα υπόλοιπα πρόσθετα απόβλητα αποτελούν μια εν δυνάμει περιβαλλοντική «βόμβα» για το νησί, το οποίο σε λίγους μήνες θα πρέπει να είναι έτοιμο να δεχτεί και τους τουρίστες της φετινής σεζόν.
Να σημειωθεί ότι από το νησί έχει περάσει το 60%-65% του συνόλου των προσφυγικών ροών, ποσοστό που αντιπροσωπεύει περίπου 550.000 πρόσφυγες, πολλαπλάσιους των τουριστών που φτάνουν κάθε χρόνο στη Λέσβο όπου οι ετήσιες αφίξεις υπολογίζονται σε περίπου 75.700.
Ηδη για το ζήτημα έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί στο υπουργείο Περιβάλλοντος δύο συσκέψεις με πρωτοβουλία του δημάρχου Λέσβου, Σπύρου Γαληνού, με τον αναπληρωτή υπουργό Γιάννη Τσιρώνη παρουσία και του υφυπουργού παρά τω πρωθυπουργώ, Τέρενς Κουίκ.
Η ιδέα
«Βλέποντας την κατάσταση καθημερινά σκεφτήκαμε τη δημιουργία μιας μονάδας μεταποίησης και ενός προσφυγικού μουσείου στον ίδιο χώρο, ώστε να δίνεται η ευκαιρία στον επισκέπτη να αντιλαμβάνεται τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει εδώ. Πρέπει οι αρμόδιοι να καταλάβουν, να σταματήσουν το έγκλημα που συντελείται. Κάθε μέρα που περνάει χάνονται ανθρώπινες ζωές. Στόχος μας είναι αυτό να γίνει σε έναν ιδιόκτητο χώρο προκειμένου να μείνει για πάντα» λέει στο «Εθνος» ο δήμαρχος Λέσβου.
Θετική ήταν και η αντιμετώπιση του υπουργείου Περιβάλλοντος, με τον κ. Τσιρώνη να δηλώνει πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει τονίζοντας ότι την πρωτοβουλία μπορεί να συνδράμει το Πράσινο Ταμείο αλλά και άλλες πηγές χρηματοδότησης ώστε το συγκεκριμένο πιλοτικό πρόγραμμα να αποτελέσει ερέθισμα και για τους δήμους άλλων νησιών του Αιγαίου που δέχονται προσφυγικές και μεταναστευτικές ροές.
Στη Λέσβο ο κύριος όγκος των αποβλήτων που σχετίζονται με τις αμείωτες προσφυγικές ροές των τελευταίων μηνών στο νησί αφορά σε σωσίβια, ενώ μεγάλο ποσοστό αποτελούν και τα υπολείμματα των φουσκωτών ή ξύλινων βαρκών, τα ρούχα και τα κλινοσκεπάσματα. Η συσσώρευση αποβλήτων στο νησί λαμβάνει πλέον μεγάλες διαστάσεις, αφού, όπως επισημαίνει στο «Εθνος» ο αρμόδιος αντιδήμαρχος καθαριότητας Γιώργος Καντζανός, μόνο ο όγκος των σωσιβίων φτάνει αυτή τη στιγμή τα 3.000 κυβικά μέτρα!
«Τα πρόσθετα απόβλητα στο νησί υπολογίζονται σε 25-30 τόνους την ημέρα, ενώ κάθε 24ωρο που περνά διογκώνονται και τα έξοδα αφού για το σύνολο της διαδικασίας από τη μεταφορά τους έως την υγειονομική ταφή δαπανώνται ημερησίως 1.800 με 2.000 ευρώ. Υπολογίζουμε ότι από τον Ιούνιο έως τώρα η διαδικασία κόστισε περί τα 28.000-30.000 ευρώ ανά μήνα για τον κόσμο που δουλεύει, ενώ συνολικά οι δαπάνες της καθαριότητας έφτασαν περίπου το 1,3 εκατ. ευρώ» σημειώνει. Πάντως για τις ανάγκες του δήμου έχει ήδη πιστωθεί ποσό ύψους 750.000 ευρώ προκειμένου να μπορέσει να αντεπεξέλθει στις ανάγκες, ωστόσο αναμένεται η εγκύκλιος που θα το αποδεσμεύσει.
Το πρόβλημα των πρόσθετων αποβλήτων στο νησί επιχειρεί να αντιστρέψει προς όφελος του νησιού μια ομάδα νεαρών επιστημόνων της ΜΚΟ Odyssea με επικεφαλής τον αρχιτέκτονα Τζέι Μέξη, ο οποίος ειδικεύεται στην ανθρωπιστική αρχιτεκτονική έχοντας ήδη θητεύσει στον προσφυγικό καταυλισμό Zaatari της Ιορδανίας που φιλοξενεί 100.000 άτομα: «Το σχέδιο που έχουμε παρουσιάσει περιλαμβάνει τρία βασικά βήματα, τον καθαρισμό της στεριάς και της θάλασσας με αποθήκευση και διαλογή που θα κάνει ο δήμος, τη διαμόρφωση του χώρου βιοτεχνίας και μουσείου με την παράλληλη αγορά εξοπλισμού, τη μεταποίηση και στη συνέχεια την προώθηση και διάθεση του τελικού προϊόντος κυρίως στις αγορές του εξωτερικού».
Ηδη μάλιστα υπάρχει συνεννόηση για προώθηση σε δέκα χώρες μεταξύ των οποίων η Αγγλία, η Γερμανία, η Γαλλία, η Ολλανδία, η Σουηδία, η Νορβηγία και οι ΗΠΑ.
Οσο για τα έσοδα από τις πωλήσεις, επιθυμία της ομάδας είναι να επιστρέψουν με κάποιον τρόπο στις τοπικές κοινωνίες: «Θέλουμε η κοινωνική δράση να έχει θετικό αντίκτυπο τόσο στους ντόπιους όσο και στους πρόσφυγες. Στόχος μας είναι τα έσοδα να διατεθούν για την αγορά κινητής μονάδας ιατροφαρμακευτικής περίθαλψης για τη Λέσβο και τη Χίο» τονίζει ο κ. Μέξης.
Ωστόσο μέχρι να προχωρήσει η ιδέα της μονάδας μεταποίησης γίνονται ήδη ενέργειες σε συνεργασία και με τον Ελληνικό Οργανισμό Ανακύκλωσης ώστε εντός του μήνα να ξεκινήσει η μεταφορά ποσότητας αποβλήτων και να πάρει τον δρόμο της ανακύκλωσης προκειμένου να αποσυμφορηθεί το νησί αφού και οι δυνατότητες του ΧΑΔΑ δεν είναι ανεξάντλητες.

Το περιβαλλοντικό πρόβλημα στο νησί
Καθημερινός είναι ο αγώνας στη Λέσβο προκειμένου να μην επηρεαστεί το περιβάλλον του νησιού από τα απόβλητα που σχετίζονται με τις προσφυγικές ροές. Oπως επισημαίνει ο δήμαρχος Σπύρος Γαληνός, την περίοδο αυτή ξεκινούν μελέτες σε συνεργασία με το Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου ώστε να αποδειχτεί έγκυρα και με μετρήσεις πως το θαλάσσιο περιβάλλον δεν έχει υποστεί επιβάρυνση. «Προσπαθούμε το ταχύτερο δυνατό να αντιμετωπίζουμε τα προβλήματα και να απομακρύνουμε κυρίως τα βυθισμένα σκάφη και τις μηχανές πετρελαίου που μπορούν να προκαλέσουν ανυπολόγιστες καταστροφές. Αυτές τις ημέρες ασχολούμαστε με την ανέλκυση βυθισμένου σκάφους στο λιμάνι της Πέτρας» τονίζει ο κ. Γαληνός.

Μεταποιημένες τσάντες από σωσίβια μοιράζει ο Δήμος Λέσβου με σύνθημα «Λέσβος, το νησί της ειρήνης».

“Θραύση” κάνουν στο εξωτερικό οι μεταποιημένες τσάντες από σωσίβια που άφησαν πίσω τους οι χιλιάδες πρόσφυγες που έφθασαν τον τελευταίο καιρό στη Λέσβο.
Χάρη στο συγκεκριμένο project, οι τοπικές Αρχές σε συνεργασία με εθελοντές κατάφεραν να αξιοποιήσουν τα χιλιάδες σωσίβια για τη δημιουργία χρήσιμων αντικειμένων.
Πριν από λίγες ημέρες, ο δήμαρχος Λέσβου Σπύρος Γαληνός έγραψε στην προσωπική του σελίδα στο Facebook: «Οι πρώτες μεταποιημένες τσάντες από το πρόγραμμα μεταποίησης του Δήμου Λέσβου σε συνεργασία με την ΑΜΚΕ ODYSSEA και το πρότζεκτ LΟVEST (Love και Vest=σωσίβιο) είναι έτοιμες. Δείχνουμε το δρόμο για την ορθή διαχείριση κρίσεων. Το δρόμο της Λέσβου».
