Are you starting to see a pattern here? Either these powerful leaders
have gone collectively insane or a systematic campaign to expose them
for what they really are is fully under way. My guess is that it is the

general Joseph Dunford last week summoned Google Chief Eric Schmidt to
the Pentagon, according to US military intelligence sources. At this

Our story
I met Saeed early 2014 on a website for people who a share passion
for design and technology. I’d just designed and started to develop
Triton. It was born out of the ambition to improve the
snorkeling experience. I wanted to design a product that would allow me
to explore underwater, not just inches under the surface, as with a snorkel.
I realized I needed help to make my dream
a reality. Thankfully, help came in the form of Saeed! He too is a keen
snorkeler, and loved my idea. He was able to help turn the prototype
into a functioning product.
Eight months on, we conducted our first successful
test. This happened to be on Saeed’s birthday. Surely a good sign!
Triton worked, but not as well as we wanted. There were still problems
to overcome. Due to underwater pressure, the lithium-ion battery and
micro compressor were not performing as efficiently as we wanted.
We
tried other batteries and compressors, but to no avail. We needed to
make our own modifications with the perfect components. After months of
sweat, endeavor (and buckets of coffee!) we made it. Thorough testing
proved what we had hoped. Our dream had been realized.
In December 2015 we launched our Facebook page, Triton gills.
We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive media coverage and, more
importantly, the kind comments and huge interest on social media.
Today we are on Indiegogo,
looking for backers to help get Triton onto the market. We believe
Triton is the future of snorkeling and scuba diving. We’re proud of our

καταφέρει να γίνει ο διευθύνων σύμβουλος το περασμένο έτος, λαμβάνει

Ο CEO της Google έλαβε 100,5 εκατ. δολ. για το 2015, σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες που έδωσε η ίδια η εταιρεία.
Η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία του εν λόγω πακέτου αποδοχών, τα 99,82 εκατ.
δολ., θα εισπραχθεί το 2017. Ο βασικός μισθός του Pichai για το έτος,
ήταν 652.500 δολ.

Authorities have confiscated more than 10,000 tons of illicit foods in recent months
What do sugar spiked with fertilizer, olives painted with copper, and fake alcoholic beverages
have in common? All are among the more than 10,000 tons of counterfeit
and illicit foods that have been seized over the last several months in a
massive initiative by Interpol and Europol, reports the Associated Press.
The seizures even had a special name: Operation Opson V,
which spanned November 2015 to February 2016 and resulted in a number
of arrests around the world as police and other regulatory bodies
carried out investigations.
"Among the aims of the operation is to identify and
disrupt the organized crime networks behind the trafficking in fake
goods," a release from Interpol said. The investigations were carried
out in 57 countries, including the UK, Greece, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Aside from the aforementioned fake liquor, tainted
sugar, and painted olives, some of the stranger confiscated items
included monkey meat, illegal buffalo meat, 11 kilos of locusts and 20
kilos of caterpillars, peanuts that were repackaged and relabeled as
pricier pine nuts — obviously a major concern for those with dangerous
food allergies — and chicken intestines preserved in formalin.

Turkey’s Defense Minister
Ismet Yilmaz says a multi-purpose military base for the country’s air
force and navy in Qatar will be ready within two years as part of a
defense agreement signed between the two countries.
Speaking
on the sidelines of the three-day Dimdex defense and security fair in
the Qatari capital city of Doha on Wednesday, Yilmaz said the base will
be the first Turkish military facility in the region, which will allow
Turkish troops to participate in military operations in the Red Sea,
Northern Africa, and the Persian Gulf.
“It will be completed within two years,” he added, noting that the deal with Qatar had been approved by the Turkish parliament.
“We
want to achieve cooperation in the field of (military) training and
exercises, and contribute to stability in the region,” Yilmaz claimed.
The
Turkish defense minister also said that the deal was reciprocal, and
that Qatari military personnel and aircraft are currently stationed in
Turkey.
Qatar and Turkey concluded the agreement in late 2014. It was approved by Turkey’s parliament last June.

ground troops as well as air force and naval units, military trainers
and special operations forces would be stationed at the base. There are reports that there are 100 Turkish troops currently in Qatar training the Arab country’s military. Qatar

French, UN troops accused of horrendous abuse in CAR

French troops and UN
peacekeepers in the Central African Republic (CAR) are facing “extremely
troubling” allegations of abusing the local population. The
United Nations said in a statement on Wednesday that a UN team has
received accounts that French troops, known as the Sangaris, forced
girls to engage in sexual acts with animals in return for a small amount
of money.
“We’ve received reports of cases of
bestiality involving French troops but we have not confirmed them at
this point,” an unnamed UN official said.
“The exact number and nature of these extremely troubling allegations are still being determined,” the statement added. According to the statement, the victims were abused between 2013 and 2015 in the Kemo Prefecture of the country. A
UN team was sent to the area this week to interview victims and gather
information on the latest wave of allegations hitting the UN
Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African
Republic (MINUSCA) force. The statement further said that UN troops from Burundi and Gabon will be confined to their bases during the probe. This

American soldiers never used to shoot at our CIA agents, and
vice-versa, but that’s what’s reportedly happening in the northern part
of Syria, former CIA officer Ray McGovern told RT from Washington, DC.
In February, the CIA-armed
group ‘Fursan al Haq’, or Knights of Righteousness, were apparently
forced out of their positions by the so-called ‘Syrian Democratic
Forces’, backed by the Pentagon.
The report
- put out by a US Veterans group - comes as President Obama this month
authorized a new Pentagon plan to train and arm Syrian anti-government

More than half of Americans are opposed to fracking in pursuit
of oil and gas, according to a new Gallup poll. The results come amid
mounting concerns about the links between fracking and earthquakes and
groundwater pollution.
Asked whether they favored
or opposed hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, as a means of increasing
the production of natural gas or oil in the US, 36 percent of
respondents said they were in favor, while 51 percent said they were
opposed and 13 percent had no opinion, according to the new Gallup poll released on Wednesday.
That
is an 11 point increase in opposition since last year. Answering the
same question in 2015, 40 percent of Americans were in favor and 40
percent were opposed, while 19 percent had no opinion. The poll was
conducted between March 2 and March 6.
Noting the six point
decrease in Americans who had no opinion of the technology, Gallup noted
that that could partially account for the rise in opposition to
fracking, as a result of the term becoming “more commonplace in the culture, or as the media has more extensively covered the arguments for and against fracking.”
Increased
opposition could also come from the low oil prices, greater energy
independence, and a turn towards alternative, sustainable energy
sources, Gallup noted. “Americans’ turn against fracking comes
as the percentage predicting there will be a critical energy shortage
in the next five years has fallen to a new low because of lower gas
prices. With oil and gas relatively cheap, many Americans may not see
the need to fracture the earth through fracking,” said the polling agency.
The
poll also found that Republicans are not as supportive of fracking in
2016, with only 55 percent in favor compared to 66 percent last year.
There was not as much change among the Democrats, with 25 percent in
favor this year compared to 26 percent in 2015.
Russia’s envoy to NATO has vowed a “totally asymmetrical”
response if the alliance stands by a plan to deploy new armored units to
eastern Europe. Citing Russian “aggression” as a pretext, the US has
announced “continuous troop rotations” starting 2017.
“We
are not passive observers, we consistently take all the military
measures we consider necessary in order to counterbalance this
reinforced presence that is not justified by anything,” Moscow’s
permanent representative at the alliance Aleksandr Grushko said in an
interview with TV channel Rossiya-24 on Wednesday. “Certainly, we’ll respond totally asymmetrically.” Grushko has not elaborated further on his statement, but said that Russia’s actions would correspond to its “understanding of the extent of the military threat, would not be extremely expensive, but also highly effective.” “As
of today, assessing as a whole what that the US and NATO are doing, the
point at issue is a substantial change for the worse in the security
situation,” he said.
