Several explosions and gunfire have been heard in the centre of the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
Media says six bombs went off, one believed to have been a suicide bomber. Another explosion was in a Starbucks cafe in a shopping centre.
Local witnesses describe seeing several bodies in the street. At least six people are believed to have been killed.
A separate blast was reported at a police post in front of the UN offices in Jakarta
Security forces have cordoned off the area and police snipers have been deployed in the area. according to local media.

Indonesia has seen a spate of militant attacks in the 2000s, the deadliest at a nightclub on the holiday island of Bali that killed 202 people.
The last major militant attacks in Jakarta were in July 2009, with bombs at two hotels, the JW Marriott and the Ritz Carlton.
