For
the 85 years in which Swami was in the physical form, He never left
India, except for this one time...when He visited the African continent
in the summer of 1968. This trip was and is one of the most historic
milestones of the Sathya Sai Avatar, and Swami Himself would never waste
an opportunity to talk about it. The devotion He enjoyed, the sights He
saw, and the joy He gave to others left a permanent impact on the
African devotees who had yearned for His darshan for so long. This video
attempts to portray some glimpses of that historic visit...this is rare
footage which will grant immense joy to view. We see Swami seeing wild
animals in the Sahara desert, sailing across the Nile river, celebrating
Gurupoornima with the African devotees, visting devotees houses,
blessing religious builldings, and much more. Do share this rare video
with family and friends and kindly forgive the poor video
quality...since the footage was shot many years ago the quality is
lacking, but the beauty of Bhagavan and the grandeur of the moments He
spent in Africa make up for the deficit. Captions are provided when
necessary so the viewer can know where Swami is, what He is doing, etc.
