Turkey let Frankenstein of terror loose in Mideast:  Analyst

… by  Jim W. Dean, VT Editor     … with  Press TV, Tehran,  on “The Debate”

[ Note
These half-hour format shows are nice to get from time to time, as you
have more time to dig down into things. This is the second time I have
been on with Weiss, from the NeoCon Hudson Institute... although he is
not one of their junk-yard dog people. They sometimes have these shows
on YouTube at 720p, but finding them is the trick. Next year we hope to
be doing some of our own Skype TV shows. ]

An analyst says Turkey’s policy
of providing support for the militants in Syria let the “Frankenstein”
of terror loose in the Middle East.

Political analyst Jim W. Dean said that, by providing support to the militants, Turkish officials let.

“Frankenstein loose all over the region, which
is the last thing the region needs, because no matter what happens in
Syria, all of these people with all of these fighting experience, they
are going to be looking for another fight to get into and we are going
to be living with this possibly for decades.”
A year into the crisis in Syria, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sided with the West, Dean said.

Calling Erdogan’s policy in supporting militants in Syria a ‘horrible
mistake,’ Dean added that Erdogan then started fully supporting the
militants in Syria, “[providing] training facilities, [etc.] really
quite more than has been in the newspapers.”

Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since 2011.

According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies –
especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey – are supporting the
foreign-backed militants operating inside the country
