Well, after having had a “mask shaming” incident yesterday (Kp blog post), I kind of felt like checking out a few of the links that people like Charlie Ward and Santa Surfing (et al.) had been putting out there, about the (in)famous CV-19.
I’m putting this out there for “data unveiling” purposes only. Feel free to do one’s own research and check these things out for oneself.
CDC: the “latest” (apparently obscurely unveiled) from CDC (link):

“Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death. The number of deaths with each condition or cause is shown for all deaths and by age groups.”
So first, if one looks at the title, it’s not “Deaths from COVID-19, it’s deaths involving COVID-19.
Now the paragraph above says “For 6% of the deaths [involving COVID-19] , COVID-19 was the only cause”. In other words, as I read it, Covid-19 was the sole cause of death in 6% of those cases.
Multiply the total deaths (those involving Covid-19) by .06 (the % where Covid-19 was the ONLY cause) = 161,392 x .06 = 9683 (the number is somewhat more than the GP link below, but you get the idea)
% in US who died from CV-19 = (9683 / 331,341,945) x 100 = 0.0029%
That’s a pretty small percentage.
And according to the graph (below Table 1 in the article, displayed image upper left of this post), almost no one has been passing away via CV19
