ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΑΛΙΚΑΡΝΑΣΟ
Οι Τούρκοι μεταφέρουν με πλωτή πλατφόρμα εκσκαφείς και μπουλντόζες στη νησίδα Τσαβούς [εικόνες]
Από σήμερα έπιασαν δουλειά οι Τούρκοι για την κατασκευή στρατιωτικού φυλακίου στην νησίδα Τσαβούς, απέναντι από τα Ιμια.
Με πλωτή πλατφόρμα οι τουρκικές στρατιωτικές δυνάμεις μετέφεραν μηχανήματα από την Αλικαρνασό και έτσι ξεκίνησε η κατασκευή του φυλακίου που θα παρακολουθεί 24 ώρες το 24ωρο τα Ιμια. Μάλιστα θα διαθέτουν και θερμικές κάμερες για να «χτενίζουν» μέρα-νύχτρα τις δύο βραχονησίδες.
Το παρατηρητήριο θα χρησιμεύει για να ελέγχονται οι κινήσεις των ελληνικών στρατιωτικών μονάδων καθώς και προσφύγων και παράτυπων μεταναστών, ενώ θα εποπτεύεται και η περιφέρεια Ντιντίμ του Αϊδινίου καθώς και η περιοχή ανάμεσα στο Μπόντρουμ και τη Ντάτσα.
Οπως αναφέρει το ρεπορτάζ με φωτογραφίες και βίντεο της «Cumhuriyet» οι εργασίες θα έχουν ολοκληρωθεί σε τρεις εβδομάδες.
