US, Kurdish Representatives to Discuss Kurdistan’s Independence in Washington
ERBIL
— London Center for Policy Research and Soran University have organised
a roundtable on July 24 for a number of Kurdish and US experts where
they discuss the independence of Kurdistan from Iraq, challenges and
prosperity.
Chairing
the discussion will be Congressman Trent Franks (AZ), with opening
remarks from the London Center Senior VP, Eli Gold and Soran University
Senior VP, Nahro Zagros, according to an invitation made by Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) representation office in the US.
The discussion is titled “Kurdistan and Iraq: Unity or Breakup?”
Additional
speakers discussing the Kurdish perspective will include the KRG
Representative to the United States Bayan Abdul Rahman, and the Dean of
Soran University Scientific Research Kamal Kolo. Additional speakers
discussing the US perspective will include, Brig. Gen. Ernie Audino, and
Dr. Walid Phares.
