Greek foreign ministry expresses concern over FYROM political crisis
The Greek Foreign Ministry expressed
concern Friday after protesters stormed the Parliament of the Former
Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia(FYROM) on Thursday and attacked MPs.
In a statement, the ministry bemoaned the fact that FYROM “is slipping into a deep political crisis” and urged that a “culture of compromise” prevail in the tiny Balkan nation.
Protesters, some wearing masks, barged past police and stormed the Parliament to protest the recent election of a new house speaker.

Ερωτηθείς αν θεωρεί πως ακόμη και σήμερα τα πράγματα στα Σκόπια θα ηρεμήσουν με αφορμή τη σύσκεψη των πολιτικών αρχηγών που συγκάλεσε ο πρόεδρος της χώρας ο κ. Μάζης απάντησε: «Δίνω τουλάχιστον 70% πιθανότητες τα Σκόπια να διασπαστούν. Μόνο μετά από πολύ ισχυρή και αποφασιστική επέμβαση των Αμερικανών στην περιοχή θα μπορούσε να αποσοβηθεί, προς στιγμή, αυτή η κατάσταση».

New research from the Aerospace Institute of the University of Stuttgart in Germany supports the theory that water has a memory—a claim that could change our whole way of looking at the world.
