Well,
I don’t necessarily like to characterize “major change” things as a
“war”, but I do feel it is very significant that someone in that upper
US office (aka, President) is directly calling out the MSM.
I’ve aligned with many of the statements “the Trump” has made. And no,
it is not “nice” sounding. Or appearing. To that, I say, “Tough
Noogies”. The MSM can either change, or go down with their currently
sinking ship. I’m sure some will, some will not. The people are awake,

As a background, some may wish to refresh their minds about who controls the MSM (or as Preston James calls it, CMMM, “Controlled Major Mass Media”). Here are a few articles that might clarify: “The Illusion of Choice: 90% of American Media Controlled by 6 Corporations“, “Who Owns the Media?“, this David Wilcock article (or pretty much any of his), and this one, referenced in this article.
They not only control the “airwaves”, but also cable, radio, country and local news, they choose the “narratives” that go along with any news story, they apparently even write the same scripts for local station, like in this Conan O’Brien video.

“For eight years, the mainstream media gushed and fawned over Barack Obama because he supported the progressive agenda of the global elite, but now that Trump is in the White House virtually every story from the mainstream media is negative… At this point, the mainstream media is so desperate to portray Trump as a bad guy that they have resorted to a modern day version of McCarthyism.
“When Donald Trump said that the mainstream media is “the enemy of the American People”, he was 100 percent correct. If our country is going to have a positive future, the immense power that these media corporations have over the general population must be broken.”
