Glimpses of Dasara Yajnam & Grama Seva, 2016 - A short Documentary

Dasara
in Puttaparthi is a festive season where the air is filled with special
chants and the heart is filled with spiritual fervour. Even as the
Vedapurusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna goes on, an equally fantastic Karma
Yajna or Yajna of action is also going on in Puttaparthi. And that is
the Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva! The Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva is possibly
one-of-its-kind. Nearly 2400 students and staff members of the Sri
Sathya Sai Educational Institutions visit 160 rural hamlets surrounding
Puttaparthi and offer food and clothes to over 50,000 families. In this
short documentary we bring you highlights of both these important events
that take place during Dasara Celebrations at Prasanthi. Of course, the
film lays special emphasis on the events happening behind the scenes of
the grand Grama Seva and the subtle essence that makes this exercise as
profound as it is extraordinary.
