Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe thinks that the political dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to be maintained in order to resolve international crises.

ISE-SHIMA (Japan) (Sputnik) — Political dialogue with Russia and President Vladimir Putin needs to be maintained in order to resolve international crises, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Friday.
“I believe it to be important to maintain dialogue with President Vladimir Putin,” Abe said at a press conference after the G7 Summit held in Japan.
Abe said that Japan wants Russia to play “a constructive role in all challenges that we have in the international community.”
