Italian PM Mateo Renzi tells Germany to mind its own business

Italian
PM Mateo Renzi unleashed some tough criticism against Austria and
Germany, during an interview on Italian TV. Renzi blasted the head of
the German central bank ‘Deutsche Bundesbank’, Jens Weidmann,
underlining that the ‘time they were lecturing us us is over’. ‘The
director has so many problems to be concerned with. The less he is
concerned with Italy the better’, he said in in a strict tone. The
Italian PM also used harsh words against Austria for its decision to
reinforce the Brenner pass between Italy and Austria to prevent refugees
from entering Austria. ‘Austria is employing propaganda. They are
continuing a communication campaign, because the are doing nothing
specific’, he said.
