Hungary will most likely build a fence on its border with Romania in order to deter migrants, the head of the Hungarian prime-minister's administration, Janos Lazar, said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Lazar, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia have come to the agreement that the migrant issue should be first of all solved at Greece's borders.
Migrants carry their belongings as they walk towards the Austrian border from Hegyeshalom, Hungary September 23, 2015.
"We are a ready to build a technical barrier on the border with Romania. Today we have a high probability that this cannot be avoided," Lazar said at a press conference, as quoted by the Ziua news agency.
The European Union is currently struggling to manage a massive refugee crisis, with hundreds of thousands of people fleeing conflict-torn countries in the Middle East and North Africa. The EU border agency Frontex recorded more than 1.8 million illegal border crossings into the EU in 2015.
