Yury Trutnev, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District, has announced the preliminary results of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), held from 3to 5 September at the Far Eastern Federal University. More than 80 agreements worth nearly 1.3 trillion rubles were signed at the Forum.
 
“More than 80 large investment contracts worth more than 1.3 trillion rubles have been signed,” Yury Trutnev told the press.“More than 2,500 people obtained accreditation certificates, 1,500 of them actively participated in the Forum as delegates. The EEF had around the clock coverage by 244 representatives of leading Russian and foreign media outlets.”
 
32 official foreign delegations attended the Forum. The largest among them were groups of officials from China, South Korea, and Japan. The delegations from China, Cambodia, and Vietnam were also accompanied by their Deputy Prime Ministers.
 
Industry representatives from the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, South Africa, Philippines, Argentina, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Azerbaijan, India, Taiwan, Norway, Ireland, Israel, Indonesia, Hong Kong , Australia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries all took part in the Forum.
More than half of the delegates to the Forum were representatives of major foreign businesses, including the heads of major international corporations like KOGAS, Nord Stream AG, JBIC, Mazda Motor, ICBC, Noble Group, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Samsung, and many others.
