Greek coast guard arrest 4 alleged human smugglers and 64 irregular immigrants
The coast guard of Tilos arrested 4 Russian and Ukrainian nationals for allegedly smuggling 64 irregular immigrants onto the small island, located between migrant-laden Kos and Rhodes. Following a tip, the authorities reportedly detected the vessel under German flag attempting to illegally bring 64 Syrian refugees into Greek sea territory. The yacht and the alleged smugglers along with all 64 irregular migrants were taken to the port of Tilos.
