The American Mass Media Plays the Role of Our Parents
[Thanks, Patrick. I believe the media is more like the baby sitter. While this is directed at America, the same thing has happened to varying degrees in many other countries.]
The media said it, I didn’t, and once again, we are viewed as “children”. ARE we children? Well, are we?
An Idea for a small, safe, innocent, non-provocative and non-costly action, based on this following article which could have very well been written by a Greek , an Italian , a Portuguese , a Spanish , a Turkish, a French, even a German citizen, and so on and so forth. Instead of ''the American Mass Media '' you would just change the Mass Media's nationality.There is this common fate of Globe's Nations , called the New World Order, binding them in a common condition by now.Therefore a common, while private and peaceful and calm and personal action should come as an annoyance or surprise to noone:
The idea is that each one of us who so feels and as long as he/she so feels, visits his/hers smalltown's or neighborhood's t.v.station, radio station, newspaper's office and in a friendly and calm way express their wish for at least a small section in their space or time to be dedicated to the alternative news.This could politely and orderly and cosmopolitanly happen like we do our chores.Like our duty to walk the dog. Such an action should not be attached to results' expectations.Yet , repetitio mater studiorum est.! m.l.p.
Concerning the main stream media
We behave like children. We choose our parents (the government—at least we once did—now they choose themselves) and trust they will always do what’s best for us. Even when their ‘best’ borders on self-serving and of questionable ethics, we still obey. They tell us it’s for our own good. And we believe them. And the babysitter (the media) does a great job of stepping in and keeping an eye on us, relaying Mum and Dad’s instructions.
We’re too busy playing in the sandbox to bother with grownup stuff, like outrageous taxes, how our tax dollars will be spent, how the banks protect our money (or gamble it away at the global casino), the fact that inflation continues to make one-income families a relic of the past and many people must have two or more jobs to survive, our children’s education is anything but, we are spied on at every turn, various Executive Orders are passed in the small hours behind closed doors that strip us of the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution, our beloved children, wives, husbands and siblings shuttled off to faraway countries to fight war after war after war after war in the name of Freedom and come back sans limbs and wait for many months before any government assistance comes to deal with the nightmare veterans faced while murdering millions of innocents in countries we can’t identify with. We can just turn our backs on those faceless foreign people. We don’t know them and it doesn’t affect us. There’s a ball game on and Mum and Dad will do what needs to be done.
At what point to we grow up and realize they cooked the books and hijacked the House, paid off Congress, permanently silenced whistleblowers, raped and pillaged any countries who balked at their plans to adopt their corrupt banking system and turn over their oil and gas…?
I could go on but need I? Even those who don’t habitually read the alternative news know, deep down, that SOMETHING is dreadfully wrong and it’s getting worse. Who do we think is going to fix it? The people you voted for are NOT in power. They are puppets.
The six o’clock news is not the place to learn what’s going on, what the problem is, or what remedial action is required. Like all good kids, we need to do our homework. We must stop letting people tell us what to think and what reality is. The reality the talking heads present is pure theatre. The corporate media is bought and paid for; owned by a few elite companies who kowtow to the shadow government.
Americans have been played. It’s time to stop trusting and start taking responsibility for the mess America finds itself in. Most have unwittingly abandoned the country they say they love to the usurpers who have no business making decisions on their behalf.
The few patriots who know what’s going on and do their best to effect change are struggling, big time. It’s going to take a massive, united effort to stop this train from ending up the train wreck of all train wrecks—the destruction of the USA—because there is a well-laid plan to do just that and there’s little opposition.
If you don’t believe the mass media news is spun and mostly lies, riddle me this: The alternative news found online is completely different from the corporate news. One of them is lying. And what do we establish to solve any crime? Motive. ~ BP
