Η
Ελλάδα, με πενιχρή στήριξη από τους εταίρους στην ΕΕ και υπό την πίεση
της Τουρκίας, οδεύει προς ιστορικό εθνικό αδιέξοδο στο μεταναστευτικό,
αν και η κυβέρνηση πράττει τα μέγιστα (ή σχεδόν τα μέγιστα, καθώς δεν
λαμβάνονται ακόμη περιοριστικά διοικητικά μέτρα αυστηρού χαρακτήρα) για
την αντιμετώπιση της κρίσης. Οι επαφές του πρωθυπουργού Κυρ. Μητσοτάκη
και του -φιλότιμου- αναπληρωτή υπουργού Προστασίας του Πολίτη Γ.
Κουμουτσάκου, στη Νέα Υόρκη, με ξένους αξιωματούχους πραγματοποιήθηκαν
στο ορθό πλαίσιο, αλλά το μέγεθος και η οξύτητα του προβλήματος δεν
επιτρέπουν την παραμικρή αισιοδοξία.
Ακόμα κι αν είχε πραγματοποιηθεί η προαναγγελθείσα συνάντηση με τον
πρόεδρο Τραμπ, ο Πρωθυπουργός δεν θα ήταν δυνατόν να μπει σε
λεπτομέρειες. Κάτι ουσιαστικό ίσως προκύψει κατά την επίσκεψη του
υπουργού Εξωτερικών Πομπέο, στις αρχές Οκτωβρίου, στην Αθήνα. Πάντως,
ήδη οι ΗΠΑ συνδράμουν έμμεσα την Ελλάδα, καθώς η επιχείρηση επιτήρησης
του ΝΑΤΟ στο Αιγαίο, από την άνοιξη του 2016 με τη ναυτική δύναμη
SNMG-2, δεν θα μπορούσε να πραγματοποιηθεί, χωρίς τη δική τους έγκριση
και παρέμβαση προς την Τουρκία που έθετε βέτο.
Από εκεί και πέρα, η Ουάσιγκτον ενδιαφέρεται περισσότερο για
τη διάσταση ασφάλειας και αντιτρομοκρατίας με έλεγχο των ελληνικών
συνόρων που αποτελούν είσοδο για όλη την ΕΕ, από την οποία μπορεί να
γίνει αεροπορική μετάβαση στις ΗΠΑ. Γι’ αυτό και οι σχετικές
αμερικανικές επαφές με την ΕΕ αφορούν την ανταλλαγή πληροφοριών σε
επιχειρησιακό επίπεδο, χωρίς ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για τις καθαυτές
αυξημένες μεταναστευτικές ροές.

Therefore, it would seem apparent to those who care for the harmonious, fruitful Globe's and Humanity's future, to state their position publicly and in all relatively assigned World's International Fora and Media in favour of President Trump and his Administration and against this unacceptably enlarged, malevolent structure of corruption, conspiracy, self-projection.
